Texarkana Area School Information and Links
Established in 1889, Texarkana Independent School District has a proud history of providing quality education to students.
TASD is comprised of approximately 4400 students located on 10 different campuses. The sites are divided into one high school (9-12), one junior high (7-8), one middle school (5-6), five elementary schools (K-4), one area vocational center, and one alternative learning center. In addition, they offer Pre-K education for disadvantaged children on four of their elementary campuses.
The Pleasant Grove Independent School District was established in 1877, with a one-room school, and continues to grow and change to meet the needs of the students and the community.
